The golf facility at Tupelo Country Club is a full-service golf operation that is open to the membership year-round. We have a practice area that includes two practice putting greens, a range for full swing, a short game area with bunkers, a spectacular 7-Hole Par 3 Short Course, and a teaching facility. The golf shop is stocked with a full selection of top golf apparel & equipment brands and a knowledgeable staff to help with any needs.
Individual Lessons are available to all ages and skill levels using the latest golf technologies. Golf clinics/ coaching sessions will be available to men, women & juniors through the golf season. Playing lessons will also be offered from the professional staff in 9 or 18 hole increments.
For your convenience, the golf operation has club storage available. Clubs will be loaded & unloaded from your cart as well as cleaned at the end of each round of play or practice.
Tupelo Country Club also offers its members a handicap service to establish an official (GHIN) USGA Handicap index.
Omar Alcaino joined our club as Tennis Director & Head Tennis Professional in 2014. Under his leadership, he has built a Junior's Program that now serves over 100 players at all levels as well as an Adult Program with as many as 11 USTA teams. While at Tupelo Country Club, he has led numerous teams (both Adult League & Junior Team Tennis) to the State Tournament with 6 teams advancing to the prestigious Southern Sectional Tournament. Omar was awarded the 2017 USPTA Professional of the Year for the state of Mississippi.
Prior to his time at Tupelo Country Club, Omar spent three years at Pelham Racquet Club outside of Birmingham, where he was awarded the 2013 USTA Professional of the Year for the state of Alabama. While at Pelham, he led three teams to the USTA National Tournament.
Omar has played at UAB where he won more collegiate matches than any other player in UAB history. He has also played professionally. His playing experience on the court along with his knowledge and passion for the game makes Omar a valuable asset to our club!
The Club Swimming Pool is open seasonally from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day. Our Lifeguard staff are Certified by the American Red Cross in First Aid and CPR. The Club Swimming Pool is the family gathering spot all summer long and Members receive poolside service from our food and beverage staff. A slide was added to provide to the entertainment of children and adult children alike.
Tupelo Country Club has a variety of dining areas to meet all needs. The pool offers two outdoor dining areas with a patio and gazebo and indoor dining in the Teen Grill. There is casual dining available on our Patio which has a beautiful view of the golf course. The Family Grill is a popular location with great views and is popular with the children. For those who prefer adult dining, the Caddy Corner lounge and the Dining Room are available. Both have views of the golf course and the Patio. For casual, formal, or just fun dining, join us for a culinary adventure. Our chef awaits you.
